Website Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 10 May 2025  ·  POMI Travels Pte Ltd  ·  Travel Agent Licence No.: TA03845

These Terms & Conditions apply to all travel products, tour packages, itineraries, bookings, quotations, reservations, and services arranged by POMI Travels Pte Ltd, referred to as "POMI Travels", "we", "our", or "us". By making an enquiry, booking, payment, or deposit with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Services

POMI Travels provides travel-related services including, but not limited to private tours, group tours, corporate retreats, business travel arrangements, customized itineraries, hotel bookings, transport arrangements, tour guides, activities and attraction bookings, air ticket arrangements where applicable, and travel-related advisory and coordination services.

Some services may be provided directly by POMI Travels, while others may be provided by third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, transport operators, attractions, restaurants, local guides, travel partners, or other service providers.

2. Quotations and Itineraries

All quotations are based on the information provided by the customer at the time of enquiry.

Prices may change due to availability, seasonal rates, supplier price changes, exchange rates, airfare fluctuations, hotel availability, or other factors outside our control.

Unless otherwise stated, a quotation does not guarantee availability until the required deposit or full payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed by us in writing.

Itineraries may be adjusted due to weather, traffic conditions, supplier availability, local regulations, flight timing, attraction closure, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed when:

  • the customer has accepted the quotation or itinerary,
  • the required deposit or full payment has been received by POMI Travels,
  • the customer's traveller details have been provided, and
  • POMI Travels has issued a written confirmation, invoice, receipt, or booking confirmation.

We reserve the right not to proceed with any booking if payment is not received by the stated deadline.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be stated in the quotation, invoice, or booking confirmation.

Unless otherwise stated, payment may be required in one or more stages, including deposit upon confirmation, progress payment before departure, balance payment before the final booking deadline, or full payment for last-minute bookings.

All bank charges, card charges, remittance fees, currency conversion fees, or payment gateway charges shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Travel Insurance Against Travel Agent Insolvency

For outbound leisure travel arrangements, POMI Travels is required under Regulation 21 of the Travel Agents Regulations 2017 to inform customers to consider purchasing travel insurance that covers any failure or disruption in the provision of the travel product arising from the insolvency of the travel agent, and which covers all travellers for whom payment or deposit is made.

Before we accept any payment or deposit from you for an outbound leisure travel product, we are required to record your decision on whether you wish to purchase such travel insurance.

Travel insurance is not automatically included in your travel package unless it is specifically stated in your quotation, invoice, itinerary, or booking confirmation.

You are encouraged to review your travel insurance policy carefully to ensure that it provides suitable coverage, including but not limited to travel agent insolvency, trip cancellation, trip postponement, travel delays, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, baggage loss or delay, personal accident, and other travel-related risks.

Where you choose to purchase travel insurance through POMI Travels, we may record the insurer name, policy name, policy reference number, and names of insured travellers.

Where you choose to purchase your own travel insurance separately or decline such insurance, we will record your decision accordingly.

Your booking may proceed only after your travel insurance decision has been recorded.

6. Recommended Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately after booking.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the selected travel insurance policy is suitable for the destination, travel dates, traveller age, health condition, planned activities, and total trip value.

POMI Travels is not responsible for any loss, damage, cost, claim, cancellation, medical expense, accident, delay, or disruption that could have been covered by travel insurance but was not covered because the customer chose not to purchase insurance or purchased insufficient coverage.

7. Cancellations by Customer

Cancellation requests must be submitted to POMI Travels in writing.

Cancellation charges may apply depending on the cancellation date, supplier terms, airline rules, hotel policies, tour operator terms, and any non-refundable costs already incurred.

Unless otherwise stated, deposits, air tickets, hotel bookings, attraction tickets, transport bookings, visa application fees, administrative fees, third-party supplier charges, and specially arranged or customized services may be non-refundable.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed only after POMI Travels receives the refund from the relevant supplier.

8. Amendments by Customer

Any request to change travel dates, traveller names, itinerary items, hotels, flights, transport, room types, or other booking details must be submitted in writing.

Amendments are subject to availability and approval by the relevant suppliers.

Additional charges may apply for amendments, including supplier charges, fare differences, administrative fees, or other related costs.

9. Changes or Cancellations by POMI Travels or Suppliers

POMI Travels and its suppliers reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary where necessary due to operational, safety, weather, traffic, supplier, airline, hotel, government, or force majeure reasons.

Where a major change is required, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer as soon as possible and provide suitable alternatives where available.

POMI Travels shall not be liable for changes, delays, cancellations, or losses caused by third-party suppliers, airlines, hotels, immigration authorities, government agencies, weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, accidents, illness outbreaks, political situations, or events beyond our reasonable control.

10. Passport, Visa, and Travel Documents

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all travellers have valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination documents, entry approvals, and other required travel documents.

Unless otherwise stated, passports should have at least six months' validity from the date of return.

POMI Travels may assist with general information, but we are not responsible if a traveller is refused entry, denied boarding, delayed, fined, or deported due to invalid or incomplete travel documents.

No refund will be provided for unused services due to issues with passport, visa, immigration, customs, health documents, or entry requirements.

11. Traveller Information

Customers must provide accurate traveller details, including full name as per passport, passport number, nationality, date of birth, contact details, dietary requirements, medical conditions, mobility limitations, and any special requests.

POMI Travels shall not be responsible for any cost, loss, delay, cancellation, or denied boarding caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

12. Health, Safety, and Fitness to Travel

Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they are medically and physically fit to travel and participate in the selected itinerary.

Customers must inform POMI Travels in advance of any medical condition, pregnancy, mobility limitation, allergy, dietary restriction, or other special requirement that may affect the trip.

POMI Travels may decline or adjust certain arrangements if we believe the itinerary may be unsuitable or unsafe for a traveller.

13. Special Requests

Special requests such as room preference, dietary requirements, birthday arrangements, adjoining rooms, bed type, wheelchair access, or specific guides may be submitted to us.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate such requests to the relevant suppliers, but special requests are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

14. Third-Party Suppliers

POMI Travels may act as an agent or coordinator for services provided by third-party suppliers.

Third-party suppliers may have their own terms and conditions, cancellation policies, safety rules, operating procedures, and liability limitations.

By making a booking through us, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the relevant third-party suppliers.

POMI Travels is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, accidents, injuries, losses, or service failures caused by third-party suppliers, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Prices, Taxes, and Surcharges

All prices are quoted in the currency stated in the quotation or invoice.

Prices may exclude taxes, tipping, meals, optional activities, personal expenses, travel insurance, visa fees, luggage charges, hotel deposits, tourism taxes, or other charges unless specifically stated.

We reserve the right to revise prices due to exchange rate changes, fuel surcharges, supplier increases, government taxes, or other cost changes before full payment and final confirmation.

16. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and updated.

However, travel information, prices, availability, itineraries, hotel details, photos, and descriptions may change from time to time.

Website content is for general information only and does not form part of a confirmed booking unless specifically included in your official quotation, invoice, itinerary, or booking confirmation.

17. Promotions and Discounts

Promotions, discounts, vouchers, or special offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at any time without prior notice.

Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined with other offers unless stated.

Additional terms may apply to specific promotions.

18. Customer Conduct

Travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards guides, drivers, suppliers, staff, other travellers, local communities, and property.

POMI Travels reserves the right to refuse service, terminate travel arrangements, or remove a traveller from a tour if the traveller behaves in a dangerous, abusive, illegal, disruptive, or inappropriate manner.

No refund will be provided for unused services in such situations.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, POMI Travels shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, including loss of enjoyment, loss of opportunity, loss of profit, emotional distress, or inconvenience.

Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer to POMI Travels for the affected service, unless otherwise required by law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

20. Force Majeure

POMI Travels shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, bad weather, pandemic or disease outbreak, government restrictions, border closures, war or civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, airline disruption, transport delays, supplier failure, power outage, technical failure, accidents, or emergency situations.

In such cases, refunds or changes will depend on the policies of the relevant suppliers and the costs already incurred.
